My Valentine Rose bouquet grew today thanks to a lovely surprise as I left Trader Joe's. I LOVE this store and was so happy to receive these flowers as a gift. With this last storm we have now received over 6 inches of rain in our area and our reservoirs are 75% of what they should be for this time of the year. What a difference a week of heavy rain and storms can make in our "drought" scenario.
This collections of roses looks just great and I love all the stems in the vase being visible. I took long stemmed roses and just hung them on the wall before they had wilted...using a string to tie them and had them hang upsidedown---they dried perfectly that way which surprised me---must have been the right roses and the right temperature involved. the long stems look good on a table top or bench...
Well the roses you sketched are glorious, and what good Karma that gesture produced!! that would make me smile all day! But hey, your sketch is making me smile - thanks for the Karma!

Lovely! It's hard to do so many roses, you did a great job! Each one is very different and the watercolour effect is beautiful!
I love Trader Joe's - wish we had them in Colorado. Great roses - thanks for sharing!
