A Week in Arizona

I just arrived home from a wonderful week in Arizona visiting favorite cousins,
Mary and Craig Brown. Here are a few images and journal pages from my trip.

I leave on a very stormy day and am eager to get to the sun.

We visited the Sonora Desert Museum, very fun and so interesting.
This is a beautiful barn owl.

Mary loves good coffee ice cream. It was so funny the way that she dashed home to make sure the ice cream did not get SOFT.... you would have thought that we were on the way to the emergency room with a major trauma. It was good for a lot of laughs on tour way home witho our "treasure".

Rebekah concentrates on doing a journal page for me.
She did a wonderful rendition of the Santa Rita Mountains in the distance.

Here is Rebekah's page.

Our family loves maps and so do the Browns, here are Mary and Becka finding Ethiopia.

Mary and Craig at Subway.

We treated Mary and Craig's son, Ben and his children to a Subway lunch.

Sitting the sun on the Brown's patio was a major event for me.

Ooops, a storm came in towards the end of my week.
Yet, the clouds were so beautiful as they came in over the mountains,
it was okay with me to not be in the sun.

We are curled up comfy and cozy to watch the Oscars.

This beautiful sunset bid me farewell to Arizona just as I was about to board my plane for SFO.

Sounds like you had a wonderful trip. Great journal pages. Yes, Rebekah made a nice mountain range journal page for you.

It's funny about the ice cream. We went to town yesterday and my husband took an ice pack for the cooler. You'd have thought it was over 90 degrees out but we were only at 50 degrees!
