Another Rainy "Paint In"

Here we are mid May and we continue to have rain storms. Yesterday, the skies opened and we really had a good dump of rain. Our Watercolor Journaling Group had planned an outing to Sonoma today but we ended up at my home. Once again, we had to retreat to be under a roof.

It was a very low key and relaxing day... I love it when every one is "into" their painting and one can hear a pin drop... all the chatting stops and people are focused and are deep into their process.

I wasn't too thrilled with my page today... I have been feeling somewhat low energy with a cold and some other bothersome health stuff... nothing really threatening, but annoying.... I'll be happy to have my old energy and pep return. It did feel so nurturing to be with a group of friends that enjoy doing journal pages, there is a spirit of comraderie and creativity when artists get together.

Miriam brought me some fresh Kale from her garden, so I know what I am having for dinner tonight.

I so enjoy reading your blog, I love your pictures of "the group" and wish I could be there with you - what camaraderie!

I gain confidence to try watercolor journaling by keeping up with your posts - I haven't gotten there yet, but I will!
