Marin Art and Garden Center

Our journaling group went to a local garden center... there are two magnificent, huge magnolia trees that sit in the center of the garden. Every where you look are special features, ponds, rose gardens, nooks and benches. There was plenty to see and to paint.

I tried a wash with my page and it buckled up on me... I wasn't too happy with this, pen and ink works better when I am out doors with my very tiny palette.... I just could not get a big puddle of paint for what I was trying to do. Oh well, I loved looking at the beautiful blossom. This is the main reason I come out to do pages... that is to really "be" with what I see and enjoy.
