Our painting group met in front of the San Rafael Library today.... it was a perfect fall day with temps in the low 70's. I decided to paint this old church that has been a theater center since the 1960's. It was painted a very bright dark pink years ago and has faded to a lovely hue. A nice gentleman from the SR Public Works Dept. stopped by to see my page... we chatted about how 5th street has kept pretty much the same as it was in the 60's.
I moved to Marin in 1962 and love living in this county that has so much variety and history, too.
Our group enjoyed our picnic lunches in the Rose Garden of Falkirk which is near by. It was a very nice and low key day.

I like this a lot...we have been to Marin County a few times when we visited San Francisco! (from Michigan.)
Do any of your painting group post pictures?
No, they are less comfortable on the Computer than I am.... AND they do some wonderful pages... E.
Beautiful pen and ink work, Elizabeth! I think using the wc pencils with pen and ink are the perfect combo!
