We are having a rain storm today
so our "paint out" became a "paint in".
Miriam had invited us for lunch so we came early
to her home and painted flowers inside.
She had so many flowers set out in different vases for us.
I choose a red geranium from her deck.
She put it into this sweet vase
with a ribbon tied around the neck
which added some visual interest.
L-R.. Audrey, Miriam, Jeanne, Jillian, Phyllis and "me"
We did our pages and then gathered round for our
"show and tell".
It is always fun to see our pages.
Several of us had done quite a few since
our last get together.
Miriam prepared a beautiful luncheon,
all vegetarian and very healthy!
She served us with her china and silver,
a rare treat these days.
Once again, I seem to tower over my friends.
Oh well, you can always find me in a photo.

how great!
Sounds like a great day! Boy, the types of diets these days. My granddaughter is allergic to most fruits and some veggies. My son can't believe it since he is a mostly fruit-eating vegan but it's true. A nephew is deathly allergic to even the touch of milk (almost dies twice now - the last time in church! Who touched a pew with milk on their fingers, a baby?). Then we have a couple of meat-eaters and one granddaughter who is allergic to gluten or wheat (she's being tested to see which). Oh we have fun with get-togethers!
My sister would have used the china and silver. She always does such a pretty set up and then there is me with the same dishes for everyday and holidays!
