A Pretty Quiet 4th For Me

My Fourth of July was pretty quiet.
The Redwoods has a big outdoor BBQ, but no vegan choices.
I chose to not pay the price of the ticket for food
I really do not eat.
I enjoyed a big salad at home.

Believe it or not, I spent most of the afternoon doing
a page in my journal for my online class
AND
the bigger project of completely going through all my paints.

I have a new smaller metal palette and
I needed to choose 14 colors to go in it.

This can be a BIG decision... so many choices.
I did fill up an older plastic palette.
Having another palette with a 2nd choice of colors
gives me more choices if I want them.

Of course, I managed to get purple paint
on a new shirt. So part of the afternoon
was spent trying to get the 3 spots out.
There is no washer or dryer in my unit so
a lot of hand washing and scrubbing went on.

I love your bright page! I would bring the idea of vegan choices to the management. It isn't hard to add a few dishes to the normal menu. I know my son gets tired of hearing people say to just add a salad for the vegans but they could do more than just that. Baked beans, pasta salad, fruit salad? Everyone would love these; it doesn't have to be tofu!
