I took a delightful van trip up
to the wine country today.
9 of us piled into the Mill Valley Community Center's
van and headed up to Yountville.
The weather was clear, warm and fall like.
The colors were unbelievably beautiful.
I especially loved the brilliant Chinese Pistachio trees
that lined the streets and bordered the vineyards.
Seeing these brilliant reds backed by
the fall colors of the vineyards was .
a gift for the eyes.
I did a quick page of part of the Vintage shop area.
Of course, my right brain forgot
that it is not August but November.
I just made this mistake on another page.
Oh well, progress, not perfection is the name of the game.
It was so nice to have some one else drive
so I could look out of the window to see all
the fall colors in the vineyards and fields of Sonoma and Napa Counties.
I live in a very beautiful part of the world.
I do not take it for granted.
The Bay Area has so many different types of eco systems
all within an easy one hour drive.

Wow, the trees against that super blue sky look wonderful! I would just put a single line through the wrong month and add the correct month so later on I would know why I had the fall colors on the page. I don't trust my memory enough to think I'd remember my slip.
Nice journal page. You are right, you live in a pretty part of the state/country!
