Gerber Daisies

I "borrowed" some Gerber Daisies from some arrangements downstairs.
There are daisies galore all over The Redwoods.
They were on all the tables at the Crab Feed Saturday night.
I do love these flowers but they have a very short life before they bend over and droop.

These drooped today, Monday.
Oh well, it is fun to paint the backs, too.

I also used a daisy to make a door name plate
for one of my new buddies. She just moved in.

That was nice to make the door name plate. It looks nice too. I like that you painted the droopy gerbera. I found they droop quite quickly too but never thought to paint it as is.

Sorry I've been gone so long. The winter got me down I guess and I am slowly getting back to normal. Almost caught up on all my blogs!

Great idea! Watercolor nameplates...and so pretty too! Bet they are appreciated. Enjoyed your Birdfeeder sketch/wtrclr--I'm so FOR the Birds. My husband claims the birds get treated better than he :-) Don't believe it :-) We do get a nice variety--even have some Deer checking it out now and then. Keep posting those great sketches--even the "drooping" Gerber Daisy.
