Quiet Days and Healing

Not too much going on around here for the past couple of weeks. I had a biopsy taken off of my lower leg and unfortunately, it got infected. So .... I have been hanging around, with my leg raised, trying to be a "good girl" and following directions. This is tough for me as I love to be active and walking is very important to me. The good news is that the antibiotics are working and the bad news is that I am STILL waiting for the results of the biopsy. Hopefully, I will hear tomorrow or the next day.

Now onto more pleasant things.... I am happy to be taking an online class from Jane La Fazio right now. It has given me things to do that are quiet. It is a class aimed at beginners and I am enjoying being able to read her comments to the students. She is very perceptive and helpful. It is amazing what is available to us through the internet.

Here are a couple of recent pages.

The Redwoods has started Art in the Garden.
We are encouraging people to come to the garden
with their art supplies and enjoy making "art'
with friends. Seven people showed up the first week.
We all sat around a table and had fun drawing,
painting and visiting.  We plan to offer this every
other week now that we know that there are folks
living at The Redwoods that enjoyed this offering.
