Our Watercolor Journal Group met today in Tiburon, we were going to be by the water sketching scenes of boats and the S.F. Bay but the weather was cold and breezy. You can see by our apparel that the sun was not out too much.

One of our members invited us to her home nearby to paint in her lovely garden. So we trooped over with our folding chairs and warm jackets to have a morning with our journals and paints.

This is just one of her beautiful flowers... it had a wonderful fragrance.

My page tried to capture the cherry tree with its drooping branches, I wasn't able to do it too well but my sketch will help me remember this beautiful garden.
It was nice to go inside at the end of the morning for hot coffee, cookies and a
time of show and tell. We all had a great time even if the sun did not co-operate!

Love the drawing of this ladies beautiful garden. The rose is really pretty. Coffee is always good on a cold day.
