Off The Couch and off to Larkspur Curves

I returned to my Curves today after 2 weeks of lounging around with first a nasty cold and then with a lovely sinus infection. I am now on antibiotics and am no longer communicable. So I rose up, hopped in my car and returned to Curves. I did a rather subdued workout and it felt so good to be perpendicular once again.

This little umbrella is a way the owner has of keeping us coming. Just like in grade school, we give ourselves stars. My poor umbrella is lacking a few due to my couch activity.

I do have to admit that I when came home, I had to veg out for awhile, once again.

Oh well, this was going on this afternoon.

I had some great entertainment right outside my window and off of my deck. The neighbors next door, who have a huge and magnificent oak tree on their property, are having it trimmed. The workers are way up high in the branches cutting out some dead wood. This looks like a very dangerous and skilled job. I took a couple of photos.
This guy is WAY up! The photo does not capture the height... I took it off of my deck which is several stories of the ground.

I hope they have good insurance!
