There were 3 of us at our "Paint In" at my home today. We all painted from the same still life that is in the photo. It was fun to see how we each interpreted the "Study in Orange" in our own individual styles. We painted for awhile and then enjoyed our sack lunches and some time for Show and Tell.
Jeanne brought these pumpkins and persimmon and leaves for us to paint.

This is Jeanne's page, she really captured the color of the larger pumpkin in the back. And I love her highlights on the persimmon.
And here is my version. I decided to not try for the green on the back pumpkin and used my artistic license to see it as I wanted it to be. I need to go back and put in a few more darks.
