December Doings

After going to Curves for a couple of years or more, I have "earned" my 500 tee shirt. I use these as night shirts... and it is fun to get them, it is a little like getting a gold star in your Brownie Book. Curves is an exercise program for women, one finds all sorts and shapes working out .... there is a large age range and there are quite a few "senior" ladies.

Birdy, my 80+ year old friend, is way ahead of me on the tee shirt awards!

A good friend from Port Townsend, WA came by for a visit this week. We had been a part of a group in California that called ourselves "Ho Ho's", don't ask! It was so great to see Barbara and I put out my Ho Ho plate to acknowledge our connections.

Earlier in the week, I had a lovely lunch with two more Ho Ho's, Marilyn and Peggy that live in Petaluma. We hope to have a Ho Ho reunion next summer. We are now living far and wide from CA to Alaska. Hopefully, we will be able to gather.

Christmas seems to be a time to gather with good friends, I reallly like that about the season.
