A Ho Ho Reunion
I drove up to Petaluma on a very stormy day for a "mini reunion" of a women's group that has been very special to me. It started out in 1998 as a support group for women who had experienced a loss of their husbands to death or divorce. And then it turned into a wonderful group of strong and resourceful women who knew how to create new lives for themselves. Three of us left the state of California in 2000 to buy a home together in Southern Oregon. (A newer version of the Golden Girls?)
We now have our members living in California, Oregon, Washington and Alaska.
Shannon, Peggy, Elizabeth, Marilyn, Bev and our hostess, Linda
It was so much fun for the 6 of us pictured above to get together for a visit. While we were visiting, three of our Oregon members called us from Jacksonville and so we were 9, thanks to ATT.

Just dropping by to say thanks for visiting my Late Bloomer blog. I've enjoyed browsing though your pages. This entry made me smile, golden girls, silver sister, friends forever.
