A friend and I met up for Casual Tuesday. We painted for a couple of hours and then walked down the street to see a wonderful exhibit of hand made books at a local gallery.
The City of San Rafael tore down a building on their main street years ago and developed a lovely pocket park that is a walkway to a parking structure. It is so lovely to have a pocket of green and right now the bougenvilla and jacarunda vines and trees are spectacular. My friend sat up close to capture the scene. I was across the street and included her in my sketch.
This show was amazing ... hand made books of every variety and material.
