More light is coming tomorrow!

It has been a quiet week around here. Nothing earthshaking.
The weather has been fantastic.
The Spring Cleaning bug hit me on Thursday and I spent
the day cleaning my little nest from top to bottom.
I opened the doors and windows and got behind and under
everything to wipe, polish, vacuum,
and scrub every surface.
I love the smell of my lemon furniture polish.
So, when it was all done, things had a wonderful aroma
of fresh air and lemon.

Last night, I sat on my couch and tried to do a page
with my eclectic posy arrangement, everything from
some Redwood cuttings to a nasturtium leaf!

Here it is...

I used watercolor pencils as I was sitting
on my off white sofa.
The colors are not as intense of my regular paints
and I don't think
they blend very well.
BUT, my sofa remained paint free.
I was able to do a page with my feet
up on the coffee table and
while I was watching the boob tube.

The weatherman tells me it is going
to be a rainy week.
I'll make a stop at our library
to pick up some good reads for a rainy day.

Don't forget to turn your clocks forward tonight.
I love day light savings because
it means I have more light
later in the day and can be out
and about in my car for more activities.
