On Thursdays, we get bounty
brought in from our garden.
There was a basket of lemons from our trees.
I found this very strange lemon.
Hmmmm, is a lemon or a votive holder?
This was a question that a fellow FB friend asked
as he commented on the photo below.
I wanted to try to paint this strange fellow.
It is tough to do yellow with shadows.
But, I had fun trying.

I agree that this is a very strange lemon and yellow is hard to do shadows with! You nailed the lemon in your painting tough and it really shows up next to the normal lemon!
