The Redwoods's bus took a group of us
over the bridge to see a current exhibit.
My plan was to go out side and do a page
but it was very windy and cold.
I ended up doing this simple table
set up that was right in front of
me at lunch time.
I love seeing fresh flowers in the ladies' room.
My mother often had a bunch of
daisies in a Dundee Marmalade crock
that sat on the back of the toilet.
Of course these Monet Waterlilies
are much more captivating.
It is always a thrill to be so
up close and personal with a famous
painting like this one.
We just finished a study of the images
of God in our Wednesday class.
This ancient limestone sculpture from 1465
is titled, "The Holy Trinity".
I was very moved by the amazing
artistry from so long ago.
After lunch, I took a short and breezy walk
around the grounds. The Golden Gate Bridge
is so beautiful on a clear windy day.
This photo does not do it justice.
