SF Bay Paint Out

Our Watercolor Journal Group was invited by some
friends to their beautiful home and garden
that sits on the edge of SF Bay in Mill Valley.

The FOG was creeping in from the ocean.
It started just as a thin thread low down and
by the time we finished, half of the buildings
along the SF skyline
were blanketed in white.

After I finished my spread of the view
beyond the garden,
I did a page up close in the garden.

My friend's garden has several colorful planter
boxes filled with annuals.

It was so relaxing to sit in the sun
and enjoy this spectacular view.

Nice paintings. Being where you can view the bridge and sketch it is pretty special. Being in a friend's garden is great too. I really love your new header to your blog. That geranium is super.
