Thanksgiving Dinner at Rancho NIcasio

Our family gathered out at
a great old restaurant in West Marin.
Rancho Nicasio has been a meeting place for years.
They have a huge dining area that is very informal.
It was just the right spot for us to be able to be together.
Nancy brought her camera and took these photos.

Michael is Porter's friend who joined us for our meal.

He has been living and working in Moscow, Russia.

Kate invited her friend, Adrienne, who is here from 

France. Her mom, Linda, flew up from Texas to

be with her daughter. It is always fun to include

new friends.

Malu is sitting next to Elsa.

She is Porter's Au Pair from Brazil.

This was Malu's first Thanksgiving.

France, Russia and Brazil were 

represented at our table.

I am so very thankful that most of my family lives 

nearby. I loved my years in Jacksonville, Oregon.

And, I love being close to my kin.
