The "Rest of the Story" and some July Journal Pages

I had a lot of fun doing a watercolor sketch of
my new friend, Steve's Ferrari
with the GR8FUL plates on it.
I did a 5" x 7" image and then created
note cards for Steve.

Here is a page with the note card put on to it.
Of course, you need to imagine the note card folded in half.
I left it open so I could see the back as well as the front.

I sent off some cards to Steve with a very heartfelt
thanks for his over the top kindness and generous spirit.

I had another serendipitous "find" for my new bed.
This beautiful quilt was discovered at a local flea market.
It had been made by someone's Granny in the mid 80's.
It had never been used. It is in mint condition
and is a perfect fit for my new bed.
I love the cheerful colors and patterns.
Every time I go to bed these evenings,
I am reminded of the importance of gratitude.

Here are a few recent journal pages.

Our Watercolor Journal Group painted in San Anselmo last Tuesday.
Here is my page.

And here is our group. We have 2 new members
