We have been treated to 2 evenings of amazing sunsets this week.
Several people posted photos of them on Facebook. My niece, who lives right down the road, posted one 5 minutes before I did.
Great minds must think alike!
Here are they are:
Our Watercolor Journal Group met on Tuesday and we enjoyed
painting on Jeanne's deck. It was a beautiful calm morning. The hour we painted no one made a peep. We were all into our process.
Then it was time for "Show and Tell" and a little visiting. I love
our group. Some of us have been meeting on Tuesdays for about 5
or 6 years. Jeanne put out tea and cookies for us, a very nice treat.
Usually, we paint out and about and refreshments are not part of the event.
This is a welcome sign and an invitation for tea for a new
resident of The Redwoods. Julie is a member of my church.
It is nice to have her here as a new resident.
My early morning walks have been wonderful. The three baby stilts are now all grown up. Can you see them?
Earlier this week, I was treated to an amazing sunrise. The sun
reflected off of the fog and thus created this beautiful pink glow.
It was breathtaking. Getting up early and walking has been part of my routine for years. Sometimes, it is hard to get out the door so early but then I receive rewards like this beautiful sunrise.
