Susan Cornelis, a watercolor artist from Sebastopol, organized the event at a wonderful bakery in Freestone, a tiny village in West Sonoma County. About 20 artists showed up to have fun capturing the scenes. The bakery had a very large organic garden, wonderful old farm equipment, interesting structures and of course, delicious treats to enjoy.

Saturday Sketch Crawl in Sonoma
Today, a friend and I drove up north to Sonoma County to meet a group of artists that gathered to participate in a "Sketch Crawl". This event is held all over the world every month. On a certain day, artists gather in various locations and spend the day sketching and sharing their work with one another. They share their work on the web. This was not an actual sketch crawl day but we did not let that stop us.

I sat outside the bakery and sketched a couple of artists across the road.
A page with some veggies and some painters, too....
There were two rusted wheel barrows out in back... it looked as though they were keeping one another company in front of the old shed.
