Tuesdays at the Larkspur Library

My car was being serviced in the shop today. So I decided to walk to the library in Larkspur. I love this little library with its old fashioned reading room that has its red upholstered wingback chairs and old fashioned floor lamps. On Tuesdays, I enjoy going to this special place and reading the NY Times. The Science section is featured on Tuesdays and I find the articles to be so interesting.

Because I spend so much time in this little library, I have applied to serve on the their Board. Tomorrow night, I will be interviewed by the city council. There are several candidates so I am not a shoe in. Years ago, I served as chairman of the San Rafael Library Board and while in Jacksonville I was a board member of the Library's friends' group. We will see what happens.

These flowers are growing along the sidewalks in Larkspur, the blooms are quite small compared to the large plants.

I found their intricate patterns quite interesting.... flowers are a reflection of God's creativity.

Kate went back to Austin early this morning .... thankfully, she will be back next month for a longer visit. On Thursday, Porter leaves for a business trip to Moscow. Whew, my daughters are on the move. I am not, but I do like my walks!

Lovely. I like the squares of color, it really showcases the flowers. Good luck with the library.

You're so right about the intricacy of everything floral (evrything in nature!) I get blown away by it all and my mind goes in spirals when I think about how everything is individual and unique all around us.
Lots to be grateful for!

Love this page.
