Painting in a Garden

Four of us from the Watercolor Journaling Group spent the morning in a friend's garden. It was so lovely with MANY things to capture on our pages.

There was a large gazebo ... I stood inside and looked up AND then there was
this beautiful gate led into the garden from the front drive. Several of us tried to paint this gate with its' intricate work and colored glass/stone borders.

I did not have the time to paint all the detail on these lovely garden structures.. so I tried to capture their essence. I will remember them easily when I go through my journal another day. This page will remind me of my generous friend, Juliet and her beautiful and welcoming garden.
