Our Elegant Thanksgiving Feast

Porter, Elsa and I were part of a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast given by Porter's friends. It was a grown up affair except for our 2 year old Elsa.

Here is a photo of Mimi, another grandmother, Elsa and me hanging out before dinner.

The table was set beautifully with all sorts of big people china, glass ware etc. etc. AND, the evening was uneventful, no crashes, no accidents - just a very happy little girl who was entertained by many "new" friends. Elsa ended her visit with displaying her new talent of doing a somersault which was well appreciated by all!

Suzi sent me home with a care package of left overs and I got to enjoy some delicious veggies for dinner the next night. Suzi is a fabulous cook and it was a real treat to sit at their table.

Your blog is inspiring! I, too, love to work with pen & ink with watercolor. And I suggest to students and others that they too can enjoy the experience.
Many respond that they cannot draw... All of us can draw. Perhaps not like Leonardo, but all of us can make marks!

I love the personal feel of yours. Thank you for sharing!
