We had a wonderful Christmas Opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors, performed during our morning service. The sad part of the day was that our choir director was in the hospital recovering from a burst appendix. We are thankful that she is going to be okay AND it was a bummer that she was not able to be present for this very good performance. Hopefully, there will be a video for her to experience.
In the late afternoon, one of our choir members, Don Miller, led the 40 voice Marin Men's Chorus. He had already spent the morning being one of the lead roles in the Opera. I love listening to men's voices. All in all, it was a joyful day filled with excellent music.
