There is a lovely pond at a UU church where I attended a meeting on Thursday. I love waterlilies. The sun was out, and I stopped to sit on the edge of the pond to make this sketch.

It is so wonderful to be a retired person who has time to sit and smell the flowers. I am not sure these had any fragrance. It was lovely to just "be" for a few moments before going into the building.

I'm a beginner at this travelling light with watercolours pastime. Please would you tell me what a water brush is? You mentioned it in your comment on another artist's blog.
