Strawberry Sketching

Once again, we are faced with another very cold, windy and damp Tuesday.

3 of us courageous women set out for Tiburon, but it was just too windy. We settled for a spot at Strawberry Town and Country Village. Our first 1/2 hour was inside to fortify ourselves with warm drinks. Then we ventured out. I told my friends that I had to stop in 10" because I was too chilled, but then the wind would abate and we stayed a little longer. Eventually, we were outside doing our pages for about an hour.

After we did our pages, we retreated into a local restaurant and had some warm and hearty minestrone soup and wonderful bread with pesto olive oil dip.

I want to bring our group back to this spot again. There are lots of wonderful outdoor displays of the shops' flowers and interesting wares.

Maybe, the sun will come out some day... tomorrow?

P.S. I am very grateful to not be in the super heat that the Mid West and East is currently experiencing. I will always choose a cool day over a too hot day. One can always put on another layer or two.
