!st Paint Out of 2011

Our Watercolor Journal Group ventured outside today... it started out to be foggy and then the sun came out later on in the morning. We are so fortunate in California to not be having the storms and cold of the
Eastern States. Several of us just sat in the sun for a while after we were all done just soaking up some rays.. it felt really good.

I took myself out for lunch after our group disbanded as I had a later appointment in the same area.
I eat mainly as a Vegan and I was really bummed to find out that my favorite Grilled Vegetable Salad had been dropped from the restaurant's menu. There are few vegan choices in many restaurants and I would often meet friends for lunch at this place just because there was vegan food for me to eat.
Oh well.. I had a Chinese Chicken Salad without the chicken and it worked OK.

Great job on the Salt and Pepper Shakers...Are you talking about the Calif. Pizza Kitchen? We actually have those here in Michigan.

Also, thanks for the paintings of flowers this time of the year for us Michiganders who don't see any of that until about April...Looking forward 'til then when my Daffodils are the first things to bloom.

I'm also bummed about loss of my favorite salad.

Enjoy your blog, your insight, your art and the memories it evokes of growing up in Mill Valley.
