A Homewarming Bouquet from Mother Bear

One of my oldest and dearest friends brought me this sweet bouquet of flowers yesterday.
I just had to paint them onto a page in my Watercolor Journal.

This is the first time I have gotten my paints and brushes out in my new nest.
It was very peaceful and fun to spend time today doing a page.

Very nice. What a friend! Your painting is great and a wonderful memory of your new home. Nothing makes a home out of a house faster than making memories in it.

What a lovely new place you have! I love small spaces, as you know, and you've made yours a real home. Looks as if friends and family are helping, too, and I'm very glad to see your new work in your new home...

Great flower painting and a nice reminder of your first few days in your new place. You have really made your new space very comfortable in a few days. I'm impressed.
I'm from Cathy's group. Love your blog and your journaling.

Your new home is just beautiful!!! I'm so glad you have a space in which to do your art. If you need more room, try putting shelves above your desk.

I'm the same way about eating, my dining table serves as a food table only during the holidays!! Otherwise, it's a reading, bills, paperwork table!! Beautiful bouquet too! Congrats on making that big move!

Exactly, our dining room table hasn't been a dining table for a LONG time. It's office and art, and now where Joseph's work area is!

The shelf idea is brilliant, I find I get so much up and off my working area but still handy that way. J. just put up an old hymnal rack that holds a bunch of drawing pads, watercolor blocks and more, right by my desk...
