Grandparents' Day at MHS

Friday was Grandparents' Day at Elsa's School.
There was a big turnout and it was nice to see families
from a distance come to be with their grandchildren
 for this special day.

We were served a delicious breakfast outside
and then treated to an assembly by the students.

The best part of the morning for me was being able to
spend time in Elsa's Classroom.

I read to the children in Elsa's class each week
and have grown  to love the children and their teachers.
There is so much warmth and affection
freely given and shared with all the children.

Elsa was very proud of her Greece project
that was posted out in the hall for
all to see... there are lots of
rainbows in Greece!

Elsa created this painting for me, she had on
a special dress for the day and, of course
that got painted, too!

I took this wonderful, joy filled painting home
and put it up on my bedroom wall
so I can wake up to this happy reminder of Elsabet.
