Watercolor Journal "Paint In" at Miriam's

Our sturdy little group met at Miriam's this morning.
The rain is here and Miriam hosted us. She gathered
Autumn Leaves on her morning walk so we could
enjoy them and use them as a subject to paint.

We brought along a lovely orchid plant as a gift
 for her  82nd Birthday.
It had 2 different orchids and
a bamboo plant in an attractive Asian basket.

Miriam served tea.
This sweet china creamer was so delicate.
 I tried to capture it.
White is so challenging to paint.
One just does the shadows.

Here is the page I did with the leaves.
