Marching Forth on March Fourth

Three years ago today, I moved into The Redwoods.
It has been a good decision. I love living in Mill Valley
close to the marsh and Richardson Bay. The weather is
not as hot as central and northern Marin. I am not much
of a hot weather person.

We are in the midst of a 2 year Revitalization Project. It is
a challenge with all the noise and confusion. However,
once it is done, The Redwoods will be an even nicer place to be.

The skies and clouds have been quite dramatic with the recent
California storms. We need the rain so much.... every drop is  needed to add to our reservoirs. These photos were taken early in the morning as I walk my 2 mile loop.

Spring is here and these wonderful tulips are right near by on another walk I take into the Town of Mill Valley.
This walk is a 4 mile loop. I do it once a week with a  soy latte as a treat before I head on home.

Our Watercolor Journal Group got to paint outside this month. We met at the Depot in the village of Mill Valley. It was so fun to be able to be outside. Here we all are and there is also a photo of our pages.

We met again today. It was raining so we all gathered around
Miriam's dining room table. When we meet inside there is more chatting and visiting, but we do get things put onto paper!

Here is the last page of my journal.
It is a painting of an ivy heart shaped plant that I brought home from Trader Joe's for Valentine's Day.
