Watercolor Journaling Group Outing in Larkspur

Our Watercolor Journaling Group met at the Community Gardens in Larkspur. One of our members has a plot there and invited us to come in to enjoy the rich harvests of local citizens. They rent plots and raise all sorts of edibles and beautiful flowers. It was a perfect day. After we painted, we all gathered under the shade of a nearby tree to share our pages and our day.

Phyllis just started painting this year and it is such fun to see the colors come alive on her page!

I wandered around the many colorful individual gardens today and put several images together. I loved the bright pink "crocs" and the bright orange rubber gloves hung out to dry in plot #39 and then I found an old scarecrow in the back. He was not too scary and had wonderful old, old overalls that had been used and loved for years. The colors today remind me of Fall. After all this is the first day of September.
